Floods in the North Island

Hi I'm Lolita and I'm on reporter of the day on current events.

There has been heaps of rain in the north island. Wind reached up to 120km per hour in Taupo up north. It knocked over trees and there were power cuts. Residents were warned to stay indoors because of the greasy roads and the bad weather. The rain also spread overnight to Auckland and some other places like Whangrei. A 61 year old women Kathleen Abbot was rescued from a river in Otaika south of Whangrei on Monday morning. A truck also got blown over it was that windy.

Hi my name is Luke. Today i bought in a rc helicopter. i told he class about the science in flying. I told them about lift, pull, weight and back rotter blades. Mr Power had a turn flying it. I like that its a good hobby and that once you have it it doesn't cost a lot. If you want a good helicopter it will cost about $100.

I got it from my Dad's friend in the Richmond mall. When i got it o took it to my brothers school within the first 2 minutes i crashed it, but i got it fixed.

I love it and use it every 2 weeks.
